About the University:
University of Florida(UFL or UF)(Established in 1853) is the sixth largest university of United States and is located in Gainesville(Florida). This university offers various graduates, undergraduates, doctorate and sports programs for their students. It covers about 15 colleges and over 100 research centers. Students from Abroad and Scholarships: University of Florida welcomes around 3000 international students in the university campus. This university also supports the International Exchange Students for the students who plan to study at their homes. There is a workshop for the international students named International Student Speakers' Bureau where the students share their culture and experience with each other. You can get an online handbook for both the international and exchange students and a guide to travel and taxes for overseas students. University awarded various financial aids to their students including SFA awarded scholarships, Endowed Scholarships, non-endowed scholarships and fellowships. The fees for the undergraduate students is approx. $15,000 - $16,500 for florida students and for outside florida students approx. $28,000 - $30,500. And for graduates of florida $19,000 - $21,000 and ouside florida $34,000 - $36,000.

I had also attended FIU recently. But it thought its not that much good for international studies. I came to know that FU is much better for studies as it offers best education and experienced staff to their students.

No, These SAT/ACT scores are not important for the transfer students but the GPA score is the important one. Meet any academic adviser of your choice and he will suggest you the right course and the university that suits you the most.
