University of Alaska

University of Alaska is a system which was established in 1917 and is considered as a land, sea and space grant system also public. This university system is affiliated by Canadian University Society for Intercollegiate Debate(CUSID). The university of alaska system consists of mainly three universities. The first one is University of Alaska Fairbanks(Fairbanks,Alaska), the second one is University of Alaska Anchorage(Anchorage, Alaska) and the third one is University of Alaska Southeast(Junea, Alaska).

Local Transport: Alaska road system is not completely developed as like other US states. Even the capital city Juneau is not linked publically only a few car ferrys can be hired which proves costly. This rail line links Seward to Interior Alaska through South Central Alaska, also passing through Anchorage, Eklutna, and Fairbanks, Wasilla, Talkeetna, Denali, spurs to Whittier, Palmer and North Pole. Alaska Marine Highway is also running to various parts of the state including Southeast, Gulf Coast and Alaska Peninsula. Air travel is the cheapest mode of transportation in alaska. Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is an airport offering flights to various cities like Fairbanks, Bethel, Nome, Kotzebue, Dillingham, Kodiak, Southeast and Alaska Peninsula and more. Dogsled is also a transport service in Alaska. Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race is well known and mostly liked sport in Alaska.
